In the quiet harbor, a lone fishing boat, its weathered hull bearing the tales of countless voyages, stood poised and ready for a new fishing adventure. Yet, on the horizon, an ominous storm brewed, its dark clouds and roiling waves hinting at a looming storm. The captain, with furrowed brow, wrestled with the decision to brave the churning seas or wait for the storm to pass. The boat's nets and gear glistened, caught between the allure of the day's catch and the impending fury of the approaching squall, embodying the timeless struggle of a seafarer's choices in the face of nature's unpredictability.
Over the past 40 years my wife and I owned a company providing science and medical art work to publishers of college text books. Since retiring, I now spend most of my free time creating fine art works. Ranging from landscapes to still life's, and everything in between. I usually post a new painting about every 2-3 months. I hope the images that I create brings a little peace and joy to the viewer.
