As a young child I remember each morning walking past our town bakery on the way to school and taking in all the incredible smells of bread, pastries and other delights. Sometimes my mom would ask me to stop in on my way home and pick-up some doughnuts.
Over the past 40 years my wife and I owned a company providing science and medical art work to publishers of college text books. Since retiring, I now spend most of my free time creating fine art works. Ranging from landscapes to still life's, and everything in between. I usually post a new painting about every 2-3 months. I hope the images that I create brings a little peace and joy to the viewer.

I was a school patrol, and my station was at the sidewalk on the busy main road at the end of the parking lot of a small strip shopping center. The key shop there was The Rolling Pin Bakery. It was heaven and torture all rolled into one!! I really relate to this fabulous work of art … and to your memory!!! f t p
