In the twilight of his life, as he ventured into his late 60s, a man named Robert embarked on a remarkable adventure that defied the conventional notion of retirement. With a lifetime of experiences etched into the lines of his weathered face, he cast off the moorings of the past and embraced a new beginning as the captain of his sailing ship. The vessel, christened "The Odyssey," became his trusted companion as he set sail into the unknown. With each billowing sail and every creak of the sturdy wooden deck beneath his feet, he felt a renewed sense of vitality. The endless horizon before him promised uncharted waters, hidden coves, and the allure of distant shores. Robert's late-in-life voyage was a testament to the timeless human spirit, a reminder that one could embark on daring adventures and chase dreams, no matter their age, finding solace and inspiration in the boundless sea.

Over the past 40 years my wife and I owned a company providing science and medical art work to publishers of college text books. Since retiring, I now spend most of my free time creating fine art works. Ranging from landscapes to still life's, and everything in between. I usually post a new painting about every 2-3 months. I hope the images that I create brings a little peace and joy to the viewer.
