I am going to be 64 this year and I am struggling with coming to terms with my mortality. I started to think about all the people that have gone before me, the millions that have passed because of the horrible COVID 19 pandemic, the wars that humans have waged since the begining of civilization, and others. I guess everyone thinks about their final days from time to time. This is my simplifyed abstract representation.

Over the past 40 years my wife and I owned a company providing science and medical art work to publishers of college text books. Since retiring, I now spend most of my free time creating fine art works. Ranging from landscapes to still life's, and everything in between. I usually post a new painting about every 2-3 months. I hope the images that I create brings a little peace and joy to the viewer.
